Full-Time Tenure Track

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in Welding from an accredited Institution and 3 years of experience in the welding industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in a Welding-related field from an accredited institution and 3 years working in the welding industry. Experience teaching/mentoring welding in any setting. Teaching online hybrid or in person classes at the college or high school level.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide classroom instruction in Welding and Fabrication.
Ability to provide classroom instruction in machining technology.
Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the College.
Collaborate with colleagues on course and program development as well as transfer course review.
Participate in departmental division wide and/or college wide committees.
At the direction of the Department Chairperson faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary for this position is $53000.00. This is a 10-month position (151 workdays). In addition to the baseline salary there is the potential for additional compensation through voluntary overload teaching.
