Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Information Management & Data Protection Lead who can provide practical handson delivery support during a period of increased transformation activity. This is a specialist role suited to someone who is confident applying IM/DP principles within project environments and who can work proactively with delivery teams.
The post is fixedterm for 12 months and is focused on embedding robust information governance data protection requirements and data handling practices into new systems and processes.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist IM/DP support to the CSR Programme ensuring data protection data governance and records management requirements are incorporated into system design data flows and programme documentation.
- Support DPIAs data mapping and compliance activities working with delivery teams to identify information risks early and offer practical evidencebased advice.
- Contribute to data governance improvements supporting clarity on data ownership retention schedules lawful bases for processing and consistent data handling across workstreams.
- Offer clear practical guidance to project and business teams translating IM/DP requirements into actions that support safe compliant delivery.
- Work collaboratively across functions including Information Security IT IM team colleagues and transformation workstreams to ensure alignment of standards and controls.

Experience:
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Professional experience in information management data protection or records and data governance.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR the Data Protection Act 2018 and IM/DP best practice.
- Experience supporting projects or change initiatives with the ability to interpret requirements and apply them in practical operational contexts.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to provide clear evidencebased advice.
Working Pattern
This post is a full-time role but staff with different working patterns are invited to apply and we will assess proposed working patterns against the business requirements for this post.
