Position Overview:
A leading provider of physical security solutions is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team as an Electrical Security Technician. This role combines electrical expertise with hands-on work in the installation and maintenance of physical security systems for government and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of physical security systems including access control video and intrusion detection devices
Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical tasks such as power sources wiring and conduit installation
Support the development and improvement of work instructions SOPs and operational procedures
Perform visual and operational inspections interpreting specifications blueprints and job standards
Analyze and help resolve work problems to achieve team goals
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work environment
Lift and move materials ranging from 10 to 50 pounds as required
Use basic electrical and hand tools safely and effectively

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license for applicable state is required
Experience in electrical trades and familiarity with trade-specific tools (ladders lifts voltmeters conduit benders power tools)
Knowledge of access control video and intrusion detection systems is a plus
Ability to read and interpret technical documents blueprints and job specifications
Strong problem-solving organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications (Outlook Word Excel)
Ability to work in a dynamic flexible environment and collaborate effectively with a team

$75000 - $90000 a year
