Job Responsibilities

Experience with developing and supporting data-oriented tasks for cybersecurity solutioning including developing machine learning algorithms data models or architecture strategy for cyber defense purposes
Experience with designing and developing automation for security tools management and create customized searches and applications
Experience with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) solutions and their resources; (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Software as a Service (SaaS)

Experience with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) tools and capabilities.
Familiarity of host and network-based security technologies
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks.
Ability to support high visibility reporting on cybersecurity data through development of data visualizations and/or dashboards

Job Qualifications

-Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks.
-Masters or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as: Statistics Engineering Computer Science or Economics required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis

-5 years in ML engineering / data science / data engineering heavily preferred.

-Experience with object-oriented programming languages (such as Python JSON C Java R or Scala)

-Must have at least a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification
-Secret (Eligible)

-Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others will be a key responsibility for this role

-Willingness to go on-site as needed will be a requirement

-Build pipelines and models validates performance and deploys analytics in a maintainable way.

-Lead technical solution design and guides a team through implementation.

-This candidate will design and deliver data science and machine learning solutions that improve security and operational decision-making.
