Job Summary:

As a Custodian you will perform routine duties under general direction of supervisor to keep offices breakrooms restrooms buildings and plant facilities clean and orderly.

Essential Functions:

Sweep mop wax and polish all floors throughout the facility.
Remove trash pick up litter and maintain clean tables and surfaces.
Dust furniture vacuum carpets and rugs and wash windows.
Clean and disinfect restrooms including sinks toilets mirrors floors and restock supplies.
Clean kitchens and break areas including microwaves refrigerators tables and chairs.
Disinfect doors baseboards walls drinking fountains and sinks.
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and coordinate with supervisor and purchasing for orders.
Maintain landscaped and exterior areas by removing weeds and ensuring all outdoor spaces are clean orderly and visually appealing.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to read interpret and follow verbal and written instructions work procedures and other related materials.
Ability to operate power floor scrubber buffer and general cleaning tools.
Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
May be required to lift carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
