Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for aLevel Designerto join the development of a new IP.
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team ofhighly skilleddevelopers to build something innovative exhilarating and expansively entertaining!
As a member of theContentDesigndepartmentyoullbe crafting immersive engaging and visually compelling gameplay environments. You willbe responsible fordesigningand implementing content withinlarge-scale open world levels for both single-player and cooperative game modes ensuring they are fun realistic and aligned with the creative vision of the project.
As a member of the projectyoullhelp take the studio and our game from great to even better;with a focus on inclusivity mutual respect (for ourselves and our players) thoughtfulness empathy professionalism and collaboration.
Youllhelp us by
Collaborating with design leadership and artists to craft unique spaces where gameplay flow and visual composition create memorable experiences.
Designing prototypingimplementingand polishing in-gamespaces and content including level geometry enemyencountersand other gameplayactivities using our proprietary tools.
Workingwithinmulti disciplineteams to help create spacesfor a variety of quests andactivities.
Providingconstructive feedback to peers andcontributeto team-wide design discussions.
Managingyour own tasks and deadlines effectively.
Communicatingprogress andchallengesacross disciplines.
Youreawesome because you have...
Early professional experienceas a professionalLevelDesigner (or some combination of applicable training and experience).
Experience with technical game design (implementation in tools game logic visual scriptinggame data andetc.)
Understandingand Execution ofthe fundamentals of Open World Level Designin modern game engines.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a confidential environment
Creative problem-solving skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach
Experience pitching level design concepts in a clear detailed manner through strongwritten and verbal skills
Bonus points for
Experience with AAA games
Having made your own game as a side or indie project
Experience in adjacent fields such as content design narrative designenvironmentart programming etc.
Architectural experience
Experiencewith scripting languages
Experience playing and/or crafting pen and paper board or trading card games
