Job Description
As a Security Officer - PT Entry Control in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will greet associates and shoppers assist with access control and visitor flow as needed and report concerns with clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including customer disputes medical situations and/or alarms.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor stock areas entrances and the exterior perimeter to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor cameras doors and access points reporting suspicious activity hazards and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete required reports and logs document incident details and communicate clearly with management law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
