The role
Were excited to offer a temporary part time opportunity for an experienced HR professional to step into the role of People & Business this role youll work closely with the Manager People & Business to deliver high quality support across HR culture business operations and project coordination. If you love working with people enjoy variety in your day and take pride in improving the way things are done then this could be the perfect role for you.
As our People & Business Coordinator you will:
- Provide HR and business support across recruitment onboarding culture initiatives and general people operations
- Prepare reports briefings communications and other documents that support decision making
- Assist with business planning performance reporting and continuous improvement activities
- Coordinate financial records reporting and analysis to support compliance and planning
- Support project and procurement activities including scheduling documentation and risk management
- Build strong relationships across our teams fostering collaboration and great service delivery
Youre someone with a passion for people a solutions focused mindset and the confidence to work across different business areas. Youre approachable resilient and comfortable juggling priorities.
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in human resources and talent acquisition (public sector experience is a bonus)
- Strong business and project management skills
- Confidence using technology including the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to adapt to different stakeholder needs
- The ability to interpret legislation policies and guidelines
- A collaborative proactive working style
