Debt Structuring and Origination - Vice President

About the job:

Collaborate to achieve the business plan budgets and financial forecasts for the Structured Corporate Credit business

Originate proactively structured debt opportunities jointly with the Banker based on the analysis of the client financial needs and market timing

Work in the technical material sent to prospects and/ or current BBVA clients

Attend to meetings with clients recurrently with dialogue at senior levels. Focus on reinforcing BBVA relationship and build loyalty with main clients

Support clients during all the debt execution process:

Draw up the pitch. Coordination with Syndication unit for the market momentum analysis

Obtain the Risk approval if required before presenting the pitch to the client Negotiate with clients banks and external consultant the deal terms and conditions

Check and review all documentation and contracts in collaboration with Legal. Sign the required key documents: confidentiality letter mandate letter invoices etc.

Obtain the definitive Risk approval once the final structure and conditions have been agreed with the client

Support ongoing contact with clients banks consultants and legal counsels through the Syndicated deal execution: Respond to investor questions on the legal structural accounting and tax issues

Generate recurrent income fulfilling with revenue targets set each year to the CL unit and IB&F overall budget.

Fluent English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
