The salary range for this position is $85000 - $115000 which will be determined based on the candidates experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer for Genset Assembly is responsible for developing managing and continuously improving processes for assembling generator sets (gensets). This role requires hands-on engineering frequent problem-solving and adaptability to address challenges during assembly. The engineer works closely with production teams to ensure efficient high-quality assembly of genset units.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop document and optimize assembly processes for genset units including layout tooling and workflow.
Perform time studies and analyze workflow to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide real-time support and solutions for issues arising during genset assembly.
Lead process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency quality and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support new product introductions.
Train and support assembly staff on process changes and technical requirements.
Analyze production data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in genset assembly.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.

Qualifications:

College/University level education in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of assembly processes preferably for generator sets and related electrical equipment
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve engineering problems in a fast-paced production environment.
Experience with process documentation lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in CAD and engineering tools.
Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus.
