Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for multiple travel assignments in Utica NY. These roles offer flexibility with multiple shift options and start dates serving a high-acuity emergency department that treats patients across all age groups.

Unit & Patient Overview

Unit: Emergency Department (64 beds including trauma triage acute CDU super track and psych)
Patient Population: Newborns pediatrics adults geriatrics
Common Diagnoses: Stroke sepsis trauma myocardial infarction cardiac arrest respiratory failure
Floating: Required as needed
Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
Active New York State RN License
Travel nursing experience required
AHA BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS
TNCC required (must be in hand for select shifts)
Experience with Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
EMR: Epic experience required
