Senior Salesforce Developer

Position Description:

The Salesforce Senior Technical Consultant is a senior technical expert within the Salesforce Center of Excellence responsible for to drive technical delivery designing implementing and evolving scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple business domains and Salesforce Clouds.
This role combines hands-on development solution architecture technical leadership and client engagement. You will own design decisions lead a team of developers and ensure robust scalable solutions that meet business goals.
Operating within a global delivery model the consultant contributes to complex multi-cloud implementations including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Marketing Cloud Commerce Cloud CPQ Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Salesforce Industry Clouds such as Government Telecommunications and Energy & Utilities.
The role combines strong technical expertise with solution design capabilities ensuring that Salesforce implementations align with enterprise architecture standards integration strategies and platform best practices.
The Senior Technical Consultant collaborates closely with Solution Architects Product Owners Business Analysts and development teams contributing to the design and delivery of scalable secure and maintainable solutions. The consultant also plays an important role in mentoring team members and contributing to knowledge sharing within the Salesforce CoE.
This role operates within Agile delivery teams and actively participates in all relevant ceremonies and delivery activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
Lead technical design and implementation on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
Configure and develop Salesforce solutions using platform capabilities and development frameworks.
Develop custom logic using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other Salesforce technologies.
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using APIs and integration platforms.
Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices platform governance standards and enterprise architecture guidelines defined by the Salesforce CoE.
Participate actively in Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning backlog refinement daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to effort estimation solution planning and technical risk assessment.
Support deployment processes and DevOps practices using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to more junior consultants and developers (code reviews technical coaching performance reviews).
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the Salesforce Center of Excellence.
Support estimation activities where required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Mandatory Skills

Salesforce Platform Expertise
Strong experience with the Salesforce platform architecture and development ecosystem.
Proven implementation experience with Financial Services Cloud.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model security model and sharing architecture.
Experience implementing automation solutions using Flows and platform capabilities.
Development & Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Apex development.
Experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Knowledge of Aura Components.
Hands-on experience with OmniStudio (OmniScripts FlexCards DataRaptors Integration Procedures) strong plus.
Strong understanding of SOQL and SOSL.
Experience with Salesforce DX development model.
Experience with Git-based version control systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes.

Integration & Architecture
Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST SOAP and other APIs.
Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.
Experience with data migration and data management strategies.
Agile Delivery
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
Active participation in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
Ability to estimate work items and contribute to sprint planning.

Certifications
A strong Salesforce certification background is expected including:
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Platform App Builder
Salesforce Platform Developer I

Language
English (written and spoken): minimum C1
