Your contribution at AIG:

Support the Head of Multinational Mexico to improve AIG MNs presence across the country by optimizing alignment with SLAs integration adoption and execution of AIGs global multinational strategies operating model and segmented value proposition(s).

Key Accountabilities:

  • SLA and KPI accountability
  • Proactive management and oversight of all multinational service activities coordinating communication and project management across all internal and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provide direction and guidance to all relevant stakeholders across Multinational Business Model and AIG Network to ensure appropriate design and effective delivery and service of assigned multinational programs.
  • Provide multinational technical expertise to the team to ensure a compliant program structure and design and adherence to all local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the promotion and adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End process so that all parties understand and commit to roles responsibilities and expected timelines to provide an elevated service performance and deliver contract certainty.
  • Ensure Multinational service fee discipline by negotiating with POs and utilizing available tools.
  • Partner with Product Underwriters to review and update wordings accordingly.
  • Engage with multinational direct clients and/or brokers to ensure end to end process on a timely manner.
  • Monitor performance and escalate where necessary to ensure all agreed Multinational service SLAs are being met.
  • Operate as the senior external service contact and working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates to the appointed broker (or client if direct) on the final hand in of policy.
  • Provide multinational subject matter expertise and be an escalation point to support colleagues in respect of multinational coverages in the country territorial information and multinational related problem solving as required.
  • Help identify support and contribute to internal and external strategies that align our product offerings and grow AIG multinational business.
  • Represent AIG at events and provide broader support to multinational growth strategies thought leadership and training as appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish is a must) additional language is desirable
  • Commercial insurance experience is at least 5 years preferably client servicing (broker or company background)
  • Strong technical knowledge of complex multinational programs including reinsurance structures with experience of the multinational environment and processes
  • Client focused with experience working with multinational corporations and dealing with senior client personnel / risk managers
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and ability to work autonomously and on own initiative
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities delegate effectively and meet tight deadlines / SLAs
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence outcomes
  • Ability to lead others to achieve common goals
  • Collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen with strong business development and negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy required: IT packages MS Outlook Excel Word

Must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following skills:

  • Analytical
  • Customer service
  • Communication and PC (Word Excel PowerPoint) skills
  • Broker relationship management
  • Negotiation

Technical Skills/ Experience:

  • Strong technical knowledge of multinational programs with an intimate knowledge of territorial issues and the systems and processes that support multinational business.
  • Experience / extensive knowledge in multiple lines of business - Commercial & Consumer
  • Captive Reinsurance/ Global Fronting experience desirable
  • Experience communicating directly with external parties including large and/or multinational corporations
  • Insurance experience in a client & broker facing role (broker or company background)
  • Knowledge of non-conventional insurance programs
  • IT packages: MS Outlook Excel and Word.
  • Professional Insurance qualifications such as ACII ARe CPCU ARM or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
