Job Summary

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

Location: Keyport WA

Job Description:

Reporting to the Program Manager the Senior Financial Analyst leads financial analysis and forecasting mentors junior analysts builds financial models and cost projections and develops process documentation and metrics to support decision-making using DoD systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct financial and project data gathering and analysis using approved systems and applications (ERP DTS EDW PET TAAT NEPS).
Use double-entry bookkeeping principles to support financial metrics account balancing and transaction accuracy reviews.
Review transaction lists for content accuracy trends and anomalies.
Perform data entry into approved DoD systems such as ERP PET TAAT and online collaboration tools.
Research historical financial data and forecast quarterly and annual spending.
Compare plan vs. actual expenditures and develop recommendations for improvement.
Create metrics flow charts and reports to support program/project decision-making.
Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel Access PowerPoint Visio Word PowerBI) to analyze data and present findings.
Provide training coaching and mentoring to junior analysts.
Develop financial models through process analysis and organizational evaluations.
Prepare cost projections using input from multiple stakeholders and supporting documentation.
Conduct modeling and simulation to support data analysis and efficiency recommendations.
Create and maintain process flowcharts using Visio.
Ensure desk guides and standard procedures are current and accurate for financial and management analyst roles.
Bid and proposal support if requested.
Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). Please visit the following link for more information: degree from an accredited university in Finance Accounting or Economics is required.
Typically requires two to three (2-3) years of financial analysis data analytics or other relevant accounting experience.
Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word Excel PowerPoint etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Must possess strong time management skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced changing and challenging environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current active Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting standing and walking.
