Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinator Parks Food & Beverage Special Events & Projects supports the planning coordination and execution of Food & Beverage projects and special events for the Parks. This role supports the overall Parks Food & Beverage Special Events & Projects team to ensure successful delivery of event and project initiatives that align with operational brand and guest experience standards. This position focuses on the creation of global content documentation verbal and written communication to include executive presentations field work hands on training and event set-up and breakdown.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes Microsoft Suite to develop maintain and manage global food & beverage special event content operational documentation and executive level presentations. Monitor and track all related expenses for budgetary constraints.
  • Support the Manager Special Events & Projects on the execution of full set up and strike of all food and beverage event locations throughout the year ensuring each space is prepared according to event specifications service standards and safety requirements. This includes organizing equipment directing support staff managing timelines maintaining cleanliness and orderliness and ensuring efficient breakdown and reset of all event areas to support continuous operations.
  • Support Parks Food & Beverage projects and initiatives such as the Mobile Food Ordering Annual Pass promotions partnership activations and other department programs across North and South Campus.
  • Aligns each project with the goal of positively affecting guest satisfaction team member satisfaction and financial return for the department. Partners effectively with many divisions including Universal Creative Placemaking Marketing Finance and Entertainment to achieve goals.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years in retail and/or food & beverage required.
  • 1-3 years in project/special events preferred.
