Type: 17 Months Contract
Job Description:
This position will serve as the Community Response Branch Manager for the Overdose Response Center (ORC). The ORC is the divisions near real time data analytics and deployment/operations center for responding to the opioid/overdose crisis statewide. County-based Post Overdose Response Teams (PORTs) and other assets are deployed by the ORC 7-days a week to engage and support communities through targeted outreach at the neighborhood level and ultimately with specific individuals. Additionally deployment plans are made with partner agencies and other community deployable assets statewide.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day supervision for ORC Community Response Branch Staff (including PORTs and the CRT Coordinator)
Provide Peer supervision and Case Manager clinical supervision for assigned staff.
Assist in the establishment of ORC process and procedures with ORC Director
Develop and foster ongoing relationships with local partners and neighborhood resources (known as the partner rolodex)
Implement Deployment Orders and Plans for the PORT and other deployable assets in coordination with other ORC staff
Assisting in data analysis and decision making for Branch activities and the ORC as needed
Investigate planning/deployment concerns and recommend solutions to the ORC Director for Community Response Branch and ORC operations
Engage local partners and resources (rolodex) prior to and during deployments to their areas and debriefing with partners after deployments
Other duties as assigned to assist ORC operations and overdose response efforts
Required Skills:
CADC or achievable in 6 months
Additional Notes:
All individuals assigned to the ORC will be required to flex their schedules to staff the center for regular 7-day week operations and during peak times (not including major holidays). This includes covering weekend shifts and evening shifts depending on current trends. Alternate work schedules to cover these shifts regularly will also be considered
