Job Summary
IT Technicians in Amazons Operations teams dont have traditional office roles they take care of the various IT systems at the heart of our operational sites. As an IT Support Technician youll work at a logistics site alongside colleagues remote support teams and the business to offer a crucial IT support this role youll work with the latest technology in an environment that encourages mentorship and career growth opportunities. Key job responsibilities
- Support local users by installing supporting and fixing issues on the IT infrastructure end-user devices and applications
- Manage tickets providing both first and second-line support
- Provide proactive maintenance to maximise the availability of all IT equipment
- Implement projects and deliver innovations together with other IT Service colleagues
A day in the life
From day one youll be involved in helping us grow our capabilities through deploying the latest technologies and helping colleagues get the most use out of their IT. - Relevant experience of using hardware and software including Microsoft Office or Windows in an IT role
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including your peers and leadership
- A valid driving licence
- Advanced proficiency in local language verbally and in writing

- A degree in Computer Science or another technical field
- Experience in networking infrastructure
- Experience in improving existing processes and procedures
- Experience in developing clear and concise documentation
