Job Description
A well-established engineering manufacturer in Scarborough is looking to strengthen its service team with the addition of a Service Engineer. This is a varied customer-facing role offering a strong mix of workshop-based support and international field service work ideal for an engineer who enjoys both hands-on work and technical problem solving.
Monday to Friday
8am - 5pm
Salary 39 - 43k with further earning potential
The role:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting both remotely and on-site
- Carry out service repairs overhauls and commissioning of specialist machinery
- Support customers with training and product instruction
- Process service requests and spare parts enquiries including preparing quotations
- Work closely with production and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of parts and services
- Support administration linked to service and spare parts orders
What were looking for:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer ideally within HVAC ventilation or similar sectors
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills on machinery and equipment
- Confident working independently in a customer-facing environment
- IT literate with MS Office experience ERP systems such as SAGE beneficial
- Flexible approach with a willingness to travel internationally as required
