The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic friendly and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our small Pharmacy team at Nuffield HealthHereford Hospital. Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager as a Pharmacy Technician you will have defined responsibilities including but not limited to

• Providing in house pharmacy services

• Assist with dispensing

• Carry out procurement distribution stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to the ward and departments.

• Attending hospital and department meetings

The Person

To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician you will;

• Will have NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent

• You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

• Experience of working in a hospital of at leastone year is preferred or at leasttwo years community experience.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong IT skills.

• Excellent people and customer service skills are essential as you will be working closely both with patients and the hospital team.

• Be highly organised and an analytical individual you will have excellent attention to detail

• Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
