*Job Description: | As part of the Marketing & Communications team theCreative Student Worker (Student Worker) is an entry-level role. This position is ideal for a design student who is eager to gain real-world experience build their portfolio and contribute to a wide variety of projects that support our marketing and communications efforts. Led by a former Brand President from Procter & Gamble the Marketing team is constantly learning growing and innovating and wants to hire a student looking to do the same. The Creative Student Worker will support the Assistant Director of Creative Services with: - Photo Database Maintenance.Organize tag and update digital photo assets to ensure easy access and consistency. Assist with curating and selecting photos for marketing use.
- Social Media Graphics.Design engaging on-brand graphics for platforms such as Instagram Facebook LinkedIn and X (Twitter). Adapt and resize existing creative assets for different channels.
- Creative Project Support.Assist with small design projects such as event materials flyers email graphics templates and presentations. Support the Creative Services team with layout updates file prep and production tasks.
- Some projects will be curated to challenge the Student Worker and facilitate growth as a designer and communicator.
- Collaboration.Work closely with designers marketing staff and other team members to deliver high-quality visual content. Contribute ideas and creative input in team brainstorming sessions.
Of the Student Workers weekly workload about 90 percent will be spent on tasks and light projects and 10 percent on communication and meetings on University Marketing Strategy. Benefits of the Role - Hands-on experience working on real projects for a professional marketing team.

QualificationsQualifications: | - Must be enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University and majoring in graphic design. This is an entry-level position and preference will be given to second-year or third-year students.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
- Extra consideration will be given to students with experience with generative AI tools photography motion graphics and/or a working knowledge of Lightroom.
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Eagerness to learn take direction and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Must possess knowledge and use of PC platform.
- Must possess multi-tasking skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines.
