Job Description
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor residential and professional applications. We are on a journey of continuous growth now looking for our next star a passionate Mechnical Design Engineer.
Your main responsibilities
Manage component life cycle cooperating with related departments Material selection and cost analysis of designed components
Related works besides 3D design including: design review DFM check and review making final release for components with all up-to-date standards and regulations of the company
Draw up BOM (The Bill of Materials) of structure components of the responsible new project
Tracking and supporting the whole process including project approval pre-development development whole machine release test and the final quantity production.
Design/improve components of definite system with consideration of appliance performance and testing result. And follow iterations of improvements correlated with simulation prototyping and testing.
Analyze technical requirement / problems of components. Find solutions. Define technical specification of components.
Follow production progress in supplier (internal & external). Support supplier in domain of components requirements tooling design processing and assembly.
Communicate with central development department to keep information interactions regarding technical issues in project or platform module.
