As Student Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator you will connect future students with life-changing opportunities. This is a hands-on role focused on planning delivery and evaluation of high-quality engagement outreach and recruitment activities across the Hunter Newcastle Central Coast Sydney and regional NSW.

In this role you will:

  • Plan and deliver targeted student recruitment and engagement initiatives that influence application preferences and meet enrolment targets.
  • Coordinate major events such as Open Days school visits campus tours and regional programs ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Build strong relationships with schools TAFE and community partners to expand pathways and enhance the Universitys profile.
  • Provide expert advice on programs entry requirements and pathways and manage prospective student enquiries.
  • Capture and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise Student Ambassadors and contribute to marketing content and campaigns.

Both positions are full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land). The fixed term position is until May 2027.

Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience coordinating student recruitment and engagement activities and events; or extensive experience and specialist expertise within the higher education sector or similar large complex organisation; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Outstanding interpersonal skills including the capacity to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate within and across teams.
  3. Demonstrated experience planning coordinating and successfully implementing student recruitment events and activities.
  4. Outstanding communication skills including demonstrated ability to present project outcomes provide advice to a diverse group of stakeholders and deliver engaging presentations.
  5. Outstanding organisational skills to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
  6. Knowledge of and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety equity diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
