Short Description
- Assures clinical care in accordance with DHHS guidelines for care and treatment of adults and adolescents infected with HIV.
- Works collaboratively with PI Outcomes Manager monitoring performance measurements associated with HIV clinical care.
- Provide nursing care assessment of patients with HIV infection and other infectious diseases scheduled for outpatient medical care appointments at the Early Intervention Program.
- Performs direct patient care utilizing nursing protocols triages patient needs.
- Assists physicians and Advanced Practive Nurses with clinical care procedures such as HCV therapy and gynecological examinations.
- Function as a liaison for EIP and ID hospitalized patients facilitating seamless transition to the outpatient medical care setting.
Experience Required
A minimum of 2 years experience HIV nursing care and at least 5 years as RN.
Education Requirements
Graduate NLN accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred
License/Certification Requirements
