What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client by:
Executing A-123 / RMIC assessments
Supporting audit readiness/remediation activities such as developing/updating process documentation (e.g. narratives flow charts etc.)
Testing or designing internal controls
Having knowledge of Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures
Apply federal accounting financial management and audit knowledge/expertise when assisting with the development of solutions and providing recommendations to client
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred
Bachelors Degree
THREE (3) or more years experience supporting audit remediation efforts including experience with audit readiness internal controls testing corrective action planning and/or accelerated audit strategies
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
THREE (3) or more years experience supporting the Department(s) of the Air Force Army and/or Navy
Advanced Degree
Currently possess one or more of the following certifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Program Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
