Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to manage environmental and social aspects of large-scale infrastructure and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations implementing QHSE/HSE standards and promoting sustainable practices at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor environmental and social management plans (ESMP)
Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations
Manage QHSE / HSE policies and procedures at site
Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analysis
Monitor waste management pollution control and sustainability practices
Provide training and awareness on health safety and environment (HSE)
Coordinate with project teams authorities and stakeholders
Prepare reports audits and documentation
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 10 years of general experience in environmental and social management
Minimum 5 years as Environmental Specialist / HSE / QHSE Expert
Experience in construction / infrastructure projects preferred
Skills
Strong knowledge of environmental laws compliance and sustainability
Experience in QHSE / HSE systems and audits
Risk assessment and mitigation skills
Good communication and training abilities
