Role Overview
Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Level 3) with a strong focus on Quality Assurance Testing and Test Program Leadership to support the integration of legacy Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) applications with the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS) platform.
This role is critical to ensuring the quality integrity and successful delivery of a highly complex multi-system ERP transformation initiative involving enterprise-wide business processes across Finance HR and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Program Leadership
Lead the development of enterprise-level test strategies and test programs for complex highly integrated systems (S1)
Define quality criteria testing methodologies and governance frameworks (S3)
Establish and manage test management procedures tools and reporting structures (S4)
Oversee end-to-end test lifecycle including planning execution defect management and reporting (S6)
Test Planning & Execution
Develop review and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test data (M3)
Perform hands-on testing activities including system testing and integration testing
Translate functional and technical specifications into actionable test scenarios
Validate ERP integrations with legacy systems ensuring data integrity and business continuity
Leadership & Coordination
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing activities across 20 stakeholders (S5)
Collaborate with business SMEs developers DBAs and architects to validate requirements and testing outcomes
Act as the primary liaison between technical and business teams (S10)
ERP & Integration Support
Support testing efforts within a transformational ERP implementation environment (M4 S9)
Validate integrations involving chart of accounts vendor/supplier data employee records and project costing systems
Ensure alignment with ERP-driven changes impacting legacy applications
Data & Technical Analysis
Analyze and interpret complex data models database schemas and architecture diagrams (S7)
Utilize SQL and technical expertise to validate data flows and system integrations
Ensure completeness and accuracy of cross-system data mappings
Monitoring & Reporting
Track testing progress risks and defect resolution status providing regular updates to leadership (S6)
Produce status reports dashboards and quality metrics for stakeholders
Ensure timely resolution of testing issues across integrated systems
Collaboration & Communication
Work effectively within a distributed/remote team environment (S8)
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences (S10)
Engage stakeholders at all levels with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills (S11)
Mandatory Requirements (M1M5)
Candidates must clearly demonstrate:
M1: Minimum 10 years of IM/IT experience
M2: Minimum 4 years as a Test Lead within the last 10 years
M3: Minimum 5 years of experience in writing and executing test plans and test cases
M4: Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP transformation projects within a public sector environment involving complex legacy systems
M5: Strong spoken and written English communication skills
