Job Description
George Chadwick Insurance is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Personal Lines Account Manager. This role serves as the primary liaison between insurance carriers producers and clients. The Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing new business renewals policy servicing and claims support.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience be detail-oriented proactive and capable of independently resolving client issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Quote market and generate new business across all personal lines of coverage.
- Provide consistent accurate and timely communication to clients through verbal and written correspondence.
- Assist clients in understanding coverage options and determining their personal insurance needs.
- Manage and service existing accounts including policy changes applications certificates renewals and claims follow-up.
- Review renewals proactively and remarket accounts when appropriate.
- Maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Promote client retention through relationship building and exceptional service.
- Support other Personal Lines team members during peak workloads or absences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in the insurance industry specifically personal lines Property & Casualty.
- Account management experience preferred.
- Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and agency management systems.
- Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
