Job Summary
MIDDLE SCHOOL -ENGLISH TEACHER
2026-2027 School Year
The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for a middle school teaching position (English) thatwill be available within our division for the 2026-2027 school year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teachers License with the appropriate endorsement to teach English at themiddle school level
- Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction collaboration and course work
- Have effective written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced or have working familiarity with virtual education
- Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment
Salary:2026-2027 Salary Scales
FLSA: Exempt
