What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management processes including greeting directing and verifying authorized entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical-related standbys and/or alarm activations and coordinate notifications to site leadership and public responders as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs document observations and actions taken and communicate relevant information to oncoming officers and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
