Job Summary
****Average salary is $130000.00 (including wage incentives bonuses overtime shift differential etc.)****
We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the CFO this role will be instrumental in aligning our financial goals with the organizations mission and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning budgeting and analysis with a strong background in nonprofit or similar settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead annual budgeting financial forecasting and performance monitoring.
- Manage cash flow planning and investment activities to maximize returns.
- Oversee internal controls ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
- Monitor investment activities and provide recommendations to maximize returns.
- Strengthen analytics and capabilities to assist in evaluation of program and agency status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field required; Masters degree and CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience ideally in a nonprofit environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform complex calculations.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel for meetings and training as required.
- Valid drivers license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
