Job Title: Senior VCF Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 months
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Range: $75 to $80
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled VCF Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) operations and be adept at building custom dashboards to address capacity issues. This role requires a deep understanding of VCP Operations (formerly vRealize Operations / VROps) and the ability to differentiate it from VRO (automation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom dashboards for VCF operations focusing on capacity management and optimization.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate existing design work into functional dashboards.
- Utilize VCP Operations to enhance monitoring and reporting capabilities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on dashboard data to improve operational efficiency.
- Potentially transition to other projects based on additional skillsets and organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VCP Operations.
- Strong understanding of dashboarding and capacity management within VCF environments.
- Ability to differentiate between VCP Operations and VRO (automation).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other VMware products and solutions.
- Additional skills in IT operations or related fields.
