ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Integrate with Senior Leadership team participating in overall Business Strategy development Drives profitable growthDynamic leader who can act as a change agent on our LEAN journeyEnsures fabric operation is acting with synergy within the total siteDevelops metrics consistent with business performance objectives Accountable and responsible for Safety Quality and Productivity Staffing: Hiring/Training/Retention responsibilitiesTroubleshooting equipment and production issuesLeading departmental meetings and presentationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and JD EdwardsStrong verbal/written communication skills and basic arithmeticAbility to read and interpret complex documentationPrevious leadership experience in a technical or manufacturing environmentExtensive Leadership background is highly valued10 years Needle punch nonwovens experienceCapital expenditure and project management experiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. The performance of this position may require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing work hours will be 7am 4pm. Nights and/or weekend coverage is probable.
