Job Summary
A Senior Management Position within the organisation working with the Directorate Clinical Lead and Directorate Nurse Managers the Directorate Operations Manager has a range of responsibilities to deliver key operational and strategic objectives and ensure effective management and development of the Directorate services within allocated resources. Responsible to the Chief Operating Officer the post-holder will work collaboratively with the Directorate Clinical Lead Directorate Nurse Manager and lead Clinicians to assist with the continual improvement of the quality of services to patients by redesigning services to meet best practice standards improving efficiency and effectiveness. S/he will be committed to challenging the status quo and looking for new and better ways of delivering MMUH goals and objectives. The Directorate Operations Manager will manage the directorate budget and human resource with the assistance of assigned Finance and Human Resource business partners.
