Are you excited to solve complex supply chain problems and shape the next generation of e-commerce logistics in India Amazon India Supply Chain is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead high-impact strategic initiatives that improve how we design scale and optimize our logistics network.
In this role you will work at the intersection of operations analytics and technology to build innovative supply chain solutions for the unique scale and complexity of the Indian market. You will lead cross-functional programs that improve network efficiency unlock capacity reduce cost-to-serve and enhance the customer experience across the fulfillment and transportation network.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical depth and structured problem solving with experience in operations research data science network optimization or large-scale analytics programs. You should be comfortable working with large datasets translating insights into business decisions and building models that guide supply chain planning and resource allocation.
Given the rapid evolution of the Indian retail ecosystem this role also requires a strong understanding of e-commerce and quick commerce dynamics including network design speed economics inventory placement and last-mile logistics innovations.
This role will partner closely with operations finance product and technology teams to design scalable supply chain solutions and deliver measurable impact on network performance. You will regularly interact with senior leadership to drive alignment communicate insights and influence strategic decisions.
Key job responsibilities
1) Lead strategic cross-functional supply chain programs that improve network efficiency scalability and cost-to-serve.
2) Use large datasets analytics and operations research techniques to solve complex supply chain and network optimization problems.
3) Design and implement innovative logistics and capacity planning models tailored to the Indian e-commerce ecosystem.
4) Partner with operations product finance and technology teams to translate insights into scalable solutions.
5) Drive end-to-end program execution including roadmap definition milestone tracking and launch readiness.
6) Influence senior stakeholders through clear data-driven insights while staying ahead of emerging trends in e-commerce and quick commerce.
A day in the life
1) Reviewing network performance dashboards and deep-diving into anomalies or emerging trends.
2) Analyzing large datasets to identify opportunities for improving network throughput cost or speed.
3) Leading cross-functional reviews with operations finance and tech teams to unblock program milestones.
4) Developing frameworks or models to evaluate new supply chain strategies.
5) Presenting recommendations and program updates to senior leadership.
6) Working with product and engineering teams to scope system enhancements that improve supply chain efficiency.
- 3 years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Bachelors degree in business engineering operations supply chain transportation logistics
- 1 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
