Job Summary
Set up calibrate and operate precision measurement equipment to perform dimensional inspections
Develop validate and maintain inspection programs to support initial in-process and final verification activities
Interpret technical drawings digital models and specifications to ensure all required features are measured and documented accurately
Prepare and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with internal and customer requirements
Support adherence to established Quality Management System (QMS) processes
Identify document and track nonconforming conditions and assist in investigation and corrective actions
Work cross-functionally with technical and production teams to address quality concerns and improve processes
Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree/Certificate from college or technical school
- Experience operating and programming computerized measurement or inspection systemsFamiliarity with structured quality processes and documentation standardsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications including geometric tolerancing conceptsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
