Accounts Payable / Customer Service Specialist
Location: Houston TX 77053
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay:$20 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Customer Service Specialist to join our finance team. This role combines invoice processing and vendor payments with a strong focus on customer and vendor support ensuring accurate accounts and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and prepare payments accurately and timely
Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding account status and payments
Maintain organized AP records and assist with reconciliations
Enter data and maintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes
Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Experience in Accounts Payable billing or accounting
Strong customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks SAP Oracle or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Vendor relationship management
Invoice reconciliation and reporting
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
