Job Summary
This role is positioned at a strategic level with a clear pathway to head up the Listed Credit function. You will drive investment philosophy portfolio design quantitative modelling and risk frameworks for listed credit portfolios.
Lead the design development and implementation of quantitative investment strategies for listed credit
Oversee portfolio construction optimisation and risk management
Develop and refine quantitative models factor frameworks and statistical tools
Analyse market issuer and structural risks across listed credit instruments
Collaborate with analysts traders and risk teams to embed quantitative insights into investment decisions
Contribute to thought leadership investment committee discussions and research outputs
Lead the development and long-term growth of the listed credit capability
Mentor junior team members
Support client engagement presentations and reporting as needed
Skills & Experience:
Degree in Mathematics Statistics Quantitative Finance Engineering Actuarial Science or related quantitative discipline
Experience in asset management with exposure to:
Listed credit
Fixed income
Credit risk
Quantitative investment strategies
Strong quantitative and statistical modelling capability
Coding skills (Python R MATLAB SQL) advantageous
Strong understanding of portfolio theory risk modelling credit instruments and market dynamics
Ability to operate at technical and strategic leadership levels
Ability to build and leverage market and banking relationships to originate investment opportunities
Strong communication skills with the ability to convert quantitative thinking into actionable investment narratives
Leadership potential with ambition to grow into heading the listed credit function
