About the role:
Your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 R&D team handling technical challenges that are different from most others on the market a mixture of complex engineering software microelectronics and cloud services.
A day in the life of our QA Engineer:
- Craft comprehensive test documentation: Become a master of writing clear and detailed test documentation ensuring every Altium feature is thoroughly tested and functions as intended.
- Champion stability through rigorous testing: As a dedicated tester youll be on the front lines meticulously testing new features to identify and prevent bugs before they reach users.
- Safeguard the user experience with comprehensive regression testing: Perform in-depth regression testing across a broad spectrum of Altium products. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining a stable and reliable user experience.
What Were Looking For
- 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer in testing complex software systems
- Experience in testing web applications
- Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and using test management tools (i.e. Testrail)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes
- Experience testing software at the API level
- Youre detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture
- You understand and have experience working with complex and evolved SDLC processes
- Performance testing tools knowledge (i.e. Jmeter)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of CI systems (i.e. Jenkins Github Actions TeamCity)
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
