Job Summary

PPS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator II to join our Hardware Department at our semiconductor fab facility in Chandler AZ. This position is responsible for operating hardware press equipment and installing a variety of hardware components into fabricated parts.

This is a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits and a high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:
Operate hardware press equipment to install PEM nuts PEM studs flush nuts and other miscellaneous hardware
Set up and run hardware press operations safely and efficiently
Experience with Haeger hardware machines is a strong plus
Read and interpret complex blueprints drawings and work instructions
Verify correct hardware type location and orientation per print requirements
Accurately count parts and record labor in the company labor tracking system
Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
Maintain an organized workstation and follow 5S and safety standards
Communicate issues related to quality tooling or equipment to supervision
Support continuous improvement efforts within the department

Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or hardware installation experience preferred
Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to accurately track labor and complete documentation
Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Basic computer skills for labor tracking and documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
