SUMMARY: The PT Shuttle Driver role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product and materials to ensure daily operational business needs are met. This position calls for someone looking to work part time hours of 24 hours per week but could work up to 40 hours per week as needed occasionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol.
Operate the provided equipment within the guidelines of the Georges Fleet Safety policy.
Operate ELD properly and legally.
Obey all local State Federal and DOT regulations.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Obey all animal welfare rules and regulation laws.
Return signed proof of delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required
- Current Class A CDL Drivers license
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience with completed drivers school training OR 2 years of experience without drivers school training
- Proficiency in English
Preferred
- Poultry or meat processing experience
