Join Qantas in our brand-new Product Innovation Centre located in Adelaide will contribute to consumer needs by architecting and delivering robust scalable systems that power seamless digital experiences ensuring fast secure and reliable services that support evolving customer expectations. 

As a Salesforce Developer youll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit. 

A hands-on highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality well-designed software. You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns. 

Youll have:

• 3 years in a hands-on Software Engineering role with Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Development
• Demonstrated experience working across major Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience/Community Cloud Knowledge OmniChannel OR CRM Analytics).
• Solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits with practical ability to write efficient SOQL queries apply bulkified Apex patterns and handle largedata operations effectively.
• Handson development experience using core elements of the Salesforce Integration stack including REST APIs Platform Events Named Credentials External Credentials and Connected/External Apps with an understanding of related security and platform constraints.
• Foundational knowledge of Java-based and web technologies such as Java HTML CSS and JavaScript to support integration or UI-related tasks where required.
• Working understanding of release management processes and governance practices within multienvironment Salesforce delivery.
• Practical experience using CI/CD and version-control tools such as GitHub and AutoRABIT to contribute to smooth deployment cycles.
• Strong development capability using the Salesforce platform including Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
• Able to provide story point estimates for development tasks based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to collaborate regularly with the Scrum Master peer developers and Senior Developer to support sprint delivery prioritisation and alignment on technical solutions.
• Ability to participate ion daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies as part of the teams delivery process
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I ).
• A real passion for quality clean code and continuous improvement
• Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work youre doing 
• Experience working with technical and non-technical partners
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity collaboration and care 
• Experience with server-driven architectures will be well regarded
