Are you a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional with a knack for the complexities of payroll systems NCS Australia is looking for a Payroll Tester to join our team working across a range of large enterprise clients.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a large-scale payroll transformation. You will be the gatekeeper of quality ensuring thousands of employees are paid correctly and on time.
About the Role
In this role you will be at the center of a complex systems integration project. You will be responsible for validating the end-to-end data flow between workforce management talent acquisition and core payroll engines. Your primary focus will be ensuring that time and attendance data translates accurately through the system to meet complex Australian retail award requirements.
You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and technical teams to execute comprehensive test cases across payroll cycles. From SIT to UAT and Regression testing you will identify and document defects with precision ensuring that system updates or migrations do not disrupt the essential service of paying employees accurately. This is a high-impact position where your work directly supports the financial well-being of a massive workforce.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a Senior Test Analyst on payroll & HRIS brownfield implementations.
Systems Expertise: Proven experience testing or working extensively with at least one of the following platforms: UKG and Ascender (Dayforce).
Integration Specialist: You have a solid understanding of how data flows between different HRIS modulesspecifically how Workforce Management (WFM) interacts with payroll engines.
Testing Rigor: Extensive experience in the testing lifecycle (SIT UAT Regression) within an Agile or Waterfall environment.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for discrepancies in data and a passion for ensuring every calculation aligns with enterprise-level compliance.
Communication Skills: The ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business outcomes clearly articulating defects to developers and stakeholders alike.
