In this role the Commis Colleague Dining Room assists with food preparation maintains cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and supports the team in delivering nutritious and well-prepared meals in a timely manner. Qualifications :
- Culinary Education: A basic culinary education such as a diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is an advantage and provides foundational knowledge in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Experience: Previous internship or exposure in a professional kitchen environment will be beneficial.
- Volume and Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment and manage time effectively particularly during peak meal periods in the colleague dining facility.
- Menu Adaptation: Ability to follow recipes while adapting meals to accommodate dietary restrictions allergies or special requests when required.
- Consistency and Quality Control: Strong attention to detail in following standardized recipes portion control and presentation to ensure consistent meal quality for colleagues.
