The Role

This History Teacher post involves teaching across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons across a broad and balanced history curriculum. The appointed History Teacher will play a key role in curriculum planning assessment and supporting whole-school literacy initiatives.

The school welcomes applications from an ambitious History Teacher whether an ECT or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of the past.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS or ECT status

• A degree in History or a related discipline

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

• The ability to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute as a proactive History Teacher within the department
