Position Summary

The Director of Business Operations is responsible for operational financial and clinical outcomes of areas of responsibility. This director oversees surgical and procedural scheduling and billing staff scheduling teams for clinical services areas such as perioperative services and medical imaging and pre-surgical operations. This director works collaboratively with other directors and managers of clinical services to support vendor contracts and relationships equipment/capital purchases capital budget planning and execution shared service agreements data analysis and reporting and strategic planning.

Overall responsibility for creating an environment that supports the mission of Childrens Minnesota through improvement initiatives optimization of resources and revenue enhancement. Responsible for providing leadership technical expertise and functional direction to others to achieve optimal outcomes.

License/Certification/Registration: No

Education:
*Masters degree required.

Experience
*10 years of experience required with a minimum of five years leadership experience in healthcare preferably in surgical services and/or medical imaging. Demonstrated progressive leadership. Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employees scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
