Job Summary
AtWork Personnel is seeking Cafeteria Food Service Workers for a local facility in Flower Mound TX.
630am-2pm
Monday-Friday
$15 per hour
Weekly Pay
The Cafeteria Food Service Workeris responsible for assisting in the preparation serving and clean-up of meals in a school cafeteria environment. This role helps ensure students receive nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety sanitation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation including washing cutting and assembling food items.
Serve meals to students and staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen serving areas and dining spaces.
Follow food safety and handling procedures in accordance with health department guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens warmers dishwashers and food prep tools safely.
Stock food stations utensils condiments and supplies before meal service.
Wash dishes trays cookware and kitchen equipment after service.
Monitor portion sizes and ensure meals meet school nutrition guidelines.
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly.
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to follow recipes.
Previous food service cafeteria or kitchen experience required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to pass required background checks for working in a school setting.
