Rate of Pay: $16.00/hour

Work Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week flexible around class schedule

Reports To: Registrar Certification Specialist

Job Summary:

The Student Assistant Office & Social Media Operations supports the daily functions of the Registrars Office by providing excellent customer service maintaining records and assisting with communications. This role also includes developing and managing social media content and creating educational videos and tutorials for students faculty and staff.

Essential Duties:

  • Office Operations:
  • Provide clear interpretation of College policies and procedures to faculty staff students parents and administrators.
  • Deliver excellent customer service at the front counter and via phone.
  • File processed paperwork into student records and maintain the filing system.
  • Assist Registrar staff with special projects throughout the year.
  • Support diploma cover preparation for Commencement
  • Maintain confidentiality of all projects and content.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Social Media & Video Content:
  • Create and manage content for platforms such as Twitter Instagram and YouTube
  • Develop and update tutorials and video content for the Registrars website.
  • Tailor content to the appropriate platform and audience.
  • Provide statistical insights on social media engagement.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all projects and content.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with FERPA and ability to interpret its provisions.
  • Proficient in social media management and video editing.
  • Creative detail-oriented enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational listening interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
