What youll be doing:

  • Planning and executing in-store marketing initiatives and retail promotions across Alberta locations.

  • Developing and managing an annual calendar of events ensuring effective planning coordination and execution.

  • Leading the delivery of community events trade shows donation drives and public-facing initiatives.

  • Supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and donations.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with community partners media contacts and external stakeholders.

  • Creating and supporting content for marketing campaigns social media and public communications.

  • Ensuring brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials events and platforms.

  • Conducting research and identifying new opportunities for brand awareness partnerships and community engagement.

  • Collaborating with internal teams including Retail Operations Career Connections and Support Services to support business goals.

  • Acting as a Goodwill ambassador representing the organization professionally at events and within the community.

What you bring to the table:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or a related field.

  • 13 years of experience in marketing event planning or media relations.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles branding and event coordination.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong writing and editing skills and demonstrated experience managing the production and distribution of a variety of communications materials.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to work.

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and ability to travel to events and locations as required.

  • Ability to represent Goodwill professionally and align with its mission values and community impact.
