Job Summary
MANAGER ECOMMERCE EUROPE
FINANCE / ECOMMERCE
Amsterdam HQ
As our Manager Ecommerce Europe you will act as a strategic finance partner for Cotys indirect ecommerce business across Europe owning full P&L performance and translating highvelocity digital sales data into actionable insights that drive profitable growth.
THE ROLE

As our Manager Ecommerce Europe you play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of Cotys ecommerce channels. You will own endtoend financial performance drive standardization across markets and act as a trusted copilot to Ecommerce and Marketing teamsenabling datadriven decisions across pricing promotions portfolio and investments.
You will be reporting to the Ecommerce / Finance leadership and you will manage:
1. Operational Finance & P&L Ownership
- Own the full P&L from Gross Sales to Operating Income
- Oversee accounting activities including inventory and COGS accuracy
- Drive monthend close and ensure highquality financial reporting
- Support SOX controls and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Contribute to corporate reporting and audits
2. Strategic Growth & Commercial Partnership
- Act as finance copilot to global and regional Ecommerce teams
- Provide datadriven recommendations on pricing promotions and marketing spend
- Support new product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Partner with the Amsterdam marketing hub on portfolio and investment decisions
- Conduct adhoc analyses to improve performance (mix pricing ROI)
3. Reporting Analytics & Standardization
- Develop and report on key ecommerce KPIs (e.g. Customer Contribution Margin)
- Consolidate results across European ecommerce markets
- Lead implementation of standardized ways of working across regions
- Ensure timely complete and consistent reporting for Monthly Business Updates
- Translate complex financial insights into clear actionable messages
4. Business Partnering & Transformation
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Marketing Sales Supply Chain FP&A)
- Challenge existing processes and drive efficiency and accuracy improvements
- Lead or contribute to crossfunctional and finance transformation projects
- Act as a strong influencer in a multicultural matrix organization
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a commercially minded finance professional you thrive in fastpaced digital environments and enjoy partnering with the business to drive results.
Your skills and experience include:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multinational finance roles
- Experience supporting indirect Ecommerce FP&A Controlling or Commercial Finance
- Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with large datasets and financial systems
- Strong analytical and storytelling abilities
- High standards of ethics accuracy and reliability
- Strong presentation and stakeholdermanagement skills
- Proactive handson and resilient mindset
- Strong crosscultural awareness and emotional intelligence
