Job Summary

Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for negotiating and offering lump-sum cash payments to public and private tower and rooftop landlords for the assignment of future rental income related to their mobile sites via telephone by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researches and compiles a list of potential customers for use as acquisition leads based on information from advertising inquiries trade shows direct mail responses aged leads business directories internet websites and other sources
  • Makes outbound calls and conducts follow-up conversations with prospective and existing customers via phone mail and email to build relationships with potential landlords acting as an advisor and subject matter expert; negotiating qualifying leads and acquiring leases
  • Sources and acquires wireless infrastructure assets
  • Conducts market research activities to improve lead quality
  • Uses CRM systems to manage pipeline and create lead activities and uploads transaction documents in M-Files
  • Delivers monthly quarterly and annual targets as required
  • Works with cross-functional departments (Marketing Data IT Finance Asset Management Legal etc.)
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending sales training meetings (and providing valuable input); reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices

Qualifications

Education:

  • Business or property related degree or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Experience in finance real estate telecom lease negotiations site acquisition or similar
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build rapport and act as a trusted advisor
  • Strong negotiation and closing expertise with a proven track record
  • Analytical with solid computer skills; prior experience with CRM systems
  • Fluent English required (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask work independently and in a team environment

Technical Skills:

  • Proven ability to close the sales process; must be motivated by closing deals
  • Ability to use CRM systems and related dashboard and reporting functionality
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) internet and database management

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to sell at all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work through the procedures of regulated companies to contract for infrastructure services
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
